What we ordered
The Corteiz graphic print multicolor T-shirt collection is a single loose-fit crew-neck blank sold across dozens of colourway and print codes, from 3156 black and 3155 white through 3109 orange, 3122 green and 3112 white rainbow print. It carries SKU 7718770988 and the listing showed it at $4.93, down from $5.91, in stock at the time of our order. Sizes run S to 3XL.
Our testing team ordered the size L in a black-on-black print code, had it shipped through our usual agent route, and logged the parcel on the Rotterdam bench: arrival date, declared weight, actual weight, outer carton and inner bag condition, and whether the approved QC photos matched what landed. They did.
Measurements against the listed size chart
Every garment we review is measured flat on the bench — chest, shoulder, sleeve and body length — then compared with the listing's chart. The listing states a 2–4 cm tolerance, which is unusually wide and worth remembering when reading the table below.
| Measurement (size L, flat) | Listed | Measured | Variance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chest, pit to pit | 56.0 cm | 57.0 cm | +1.0 cm |
| Shoulder width | 50.0 cm | 51.0 cm | +1.0 cm |
| Sleeve length (shoulder seam to cuff) | 22.0 cm | 22.0 cm | 0.0 cm |
| Body length (high point of shoulder to hem) | 68.0 cm | 66.5 cm | −1.5 cm |
| Hem width | 56.0 cm | 56.5 cm | +0.5 cm |
The chest and shoulder readings come in above the chart, which matches the wide-across-the-chest shape Corteiz is known for. The body length is the one number that sits under the chart by more than a centimetre, and it is the reading that decides how the tee looks tucked against the hip. It still falls inside the stated 2–4 cm tolerance, so it is a variance to be aware of rather than a listing error.
Fabric and construction
The listing names polyester as the main fabric, plain thickness, breathable as the material function, and a 180–250 g weight band. The complete size L tee weighed 208 g on our 0.1 g bench scale, which is consistent with that band once the short sleeves and cropped body are accounted for. Neck rib depth measured 4.2 cm, and the hem and cuffs are single-stitched with a straight finish typical of this price point.
Polyester at this weight has a dry, slightly slick hand feel rather than a cotton-drape hand. In fourteen days of wear through Dutch spring temperatures between 9 °C and 22 °C it dried quickly after a shower, held its shape at the shoulders and showed mild static under a fleece. Our tester's honest note: it reads as a print-led summer shirt, not a heavyweight everyday cotton tee.
Wash test
We wash every garment once before our final fit note. Cold machine wash at 30 °C, line dry, no tumble:
- Body length: 66.5 cm → 65.7 cm (−0.8 cm)
- Chest, pit to pit: 57.0 cm → 56.5 cm (−0.5 cm, within our own repeat-measurement noise)
- Print surface: no cracking, flaking or lifting at the 3D-effect lettering after the wash cycle
- Colour: no visible change on the black colourway against the daylight lamps
A sub-centimetre length loss on a polyester knit is normal and would not change our size recommendation, but if you are between sizes on body length, take the larger one.
Fit, sizing and the print
Buyer reports on Corteiz tees generally describe a true-to-size fit and a shape that is wide at the chest, slightly cropped, with sleeves finishing past the halfway point of the upper arm — structure that sits between a clinging gym top and a draping vintage tee. Our size L measurements line up with that description almost exactly. The common advice in Corteiz communities is to size up rather than down if you want extra drape:
I have three t shirts from corteiz and they fit true to size. If u want them baggy I would say go a size up.
That advice was written about the brand's tees rather than this exact listing, so treat it as a starting point and confirm your size against the chart on the product page. The 2–4 cm stated tolerance is the real risk here: two buyers ordering the same letter size can land with hem positions roughly 4 cm apart.
The print is described as 3D-effect lettering. The listing's print theme is 3D effect, applied as a raised-look graphic rather than a physical appliqué. On the colourway we handled, the graphic sat flat against the fabric with a slight relief illusion from shading rather than a genuinely raised surface. If a tactile, puffy print is what you are picturing, ask the seller for a close-up of the print before you commit.
Colourways and variant consistency
The listing enumerates more than forty colour codes, including 3156 black, 3156 white, 3153 yellow lettering, 3153 red print, 3122 green, pink and blue, 3121 black-pink print, 3118 black, 3112 rainbow print, 3109 orange, light blue, coffee, army green and sky blue, plus a 3103 group that adds brown, deep blue and green print variants. That range is the main selling point of the collection.
We physically verified one colourway. For the others, our note is what it was on the day of checking: the variant images in the listing share the same blank shape, the same collar depth and the same sleeve length, and the differences sit in print placement and ink colour. We would want close-ups of the specific code — not the main image — before ordering a print-heavy variant like 3112 or 3103, because that is where colour placement is easiest to get wrong.
Quality: the evidence is genuinely split
Public opinion on Corteiz T-shirts does not point one way. Long-term buyers rate the brand's garments highly, with roughly 4.6 out of 5 across hundreds of reviews on the brand's Trustpilot page:
I've been buying corteiz clothes for over 4 years and i've never been disappointed by what i got... the already great quality always improving.
Against that, a widely read authentication guide carries a blunt complaint aimed specifically at the tees:
Half the time it's unnecessarily expensive and the quality of the t-shirts isn't that good... T shirt quality is shit, other items are pretty good.
Both quotes describe Corteiz clothing in general, not this listing, and there is no independent buyer evidence tied to this specific SKU. What we can say from the bench is narrower and more useful: the garment we measured and washed held its print, kept its shoulder shape and matched the stated fabric band. That is a decent result for a polyester print tee at $4.93, and it does not resolve whether the wider brand's pricing always earns its reputation.
Value
At $4.93 from a $5.91 original price, the maths here is straightforward: you are paying a low price for a polyester graphic tee with a wide chest, a slightly cropped body, breathable fabric and a colourway menu that is close to unmatched at this price. The trade-offs are the polyester hand feel, the 2–4 cm stated tolerance and the body length that ran 1.5 cm short on our size L. None of those are hidden defects, but all three are the things to weigh before you pick a size.
