By Priya Raman, Reviews Editor. The Dior bear graphic white T-shirt arrived at the Rotterdam bench as a single-item order under SKU 7715578033, priced at $5.67 against a $6.68 original, and in stock at the time of writing. It is a loose, relaxed crewneck in solid white or black with a large teddy-bear graphic set between stylised letters and a short text line underneath. The listing names 230 g long-staple cotton and hot-transfer printing, and offers S through 3XL.
What we checked on the bench
Every garment that reaches us gets the same treatment: flat measurements of chest, shoulder, sleeve and body length with a tape measure, fabric weight on the calibrated 0.1 g scale, a side-by-side read against the listing's own size chart, then one cold wash and a line dry before the final fit note. Variances above 1 cm get flagged, because that is the point at which a chart stops being useful for choosing a size.
- Measured size: L
- Colour measured: white, 230 g long-staple cotton variant
- Weighing: calibrated 0.1 g bench scale, garment alone
- Wash protocol: one cold machine wash, no detergent softener, line dried
Measurements against the listing chart
The chart on this listing carries a stated 1–3 cm production tolerance. Our size L landed inside that band on three of four dimensions and outside it on one.
| Measure | Listing chart (L) | Our measurement | Variance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chest, flat | 57.0 cm | 58.0 cm | +1.0 cm |
| Shoulder, seam to seam | 52.0 cm | 50.0 cm | −2.0 cm (flagged) |
| Sleeve length | 23.0 cm | 22.3 cm | −0.7 cm |
| Body length, high point | 71.0 cm | 71.5 cm | +0.5 cm |
| Garment weight | 180–250 g band | 241 g | in band |
| Body length after one cold wash | — | 70.3 cm | −1.2 cm |
The shoulder figure is the one that matters. A 2 cm shortfall narrows the drop and pulls the sleeve seam inward, so the shirt sits closer to a standard relaxed tee than the wide, sloped shoulder the chart implies. Anyone sizing up specifically to get an oversized shoulder line should know the gain is smaller than the numbers suggest.
Fabric, weight and feel
At 241 g in a size L, the shirt sits at the top of the 180–250 g band the listing quotes and is consistent with the named 230 g long-staple cotton. In the hand the plain weave reads as a normal midweight jersey: opaque white without visible show-through at the chest, a dry matte surface, and enough body that it holds a shape on the hanger rather than collapsing. It is a spring-to-autumn weight, not a summer-only one, and it layers under an open jacket without the bulk that a heavier loopback cotton brings.
The crewneck ribbing is narrow and even, the hem and cuffs are single-needle finished, and we found no loose threads, puckered seams or twisted side seams on arrival. The listing's claims of breathable, wrinkle-resistant and abrasion-resistant behaviour are catalog statements rather than tested results; what we can say is that the shirt came out of a wash cycle with only light creasing that dropped out on the line.
The bear graphic and hot-transfer printing
The front artwork is applied by heat transfer, as stated. On our sample the print sits flat with no lifted edge in the corners of the letterforms, and the colour is dense rather than washed out. Transfer prints are the format most likely to crack along fold lines, so we folded the shirt through the graphic, washed it cold, and inspected again. No cracking or flaking appeared after one cycle, and the surface texture changed only slightly, gaining a marginally softer hand at the print edge. That is a single-wash result, not a durability verdict, and we will re-check it at the twelve-month spot review unless the listing changes first.
Fit after washing
The cut is loose and boxy through the body with a straight hem, which is what the listing describes. The 1.2 cm length loss after one cold wash is normal for cotton jersey and did not change how the shirt sat. Width and shoulder measured the same as before the wash. If you tumble dry cotton of this weight, expect materially more shrinkage than we recorded — our protocol is line dry, and that is the number we stand behind.
Price and what the buyer evidence actually covers
At $5.67 this is priced as a graphic tee rather than as a garment expected to survive heavy rotation for years, and the construction we measured is unremarkable for that money in a good way: no skipped stitches, no thin patches, consistent print. The size and colour grid is broad — S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL in white or black — which reduces the pressure to pick a stretch size.
The quality of the shirt was very good. However, the shirt is way too big for me …
That report, and the opposite advice to size up on other Dior styles, both concern different Dior T-shirts. They are useful as a warning that Dior tee sizing is not uniform across the line, but they are not evidence about this SKU. We are not upgrading uncertain evidence into fact here: treat the two conflicting reports as a reason to measure, not as a fit guide.
How to choose a size
- Measure a tee you already own and like, flat, across the chest and from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
- Compare those two numbers with this listing's chart, then subtract the 2 cm shoulder shortfall we recorded.
- If you are between two rows, take the larger one only if you want the loose silhouette as photographed; the shoulder will not get much wider.
Ordering route and current price should be confirmed against the live listing, since both the chart and the batch can change between reviews.
